Multi-point color balance
A simple solution to complex color issues!
Break through the limitations of traditional grey-point based white balance and achieve new heights of creativity (without resorting to complex layer-based tools).

This Multi-point color balance feature offers a sophisticated way of achieving exact color matching between shots, even where a neutral color reference is missing — what’s more, it can do this across a whole string of images, making it is easier than ever before to match critical colors between different shots.
Now you can pick any color from within your scene — this could be a flesh tone, or any other color whose reproduction is critical, or easy to judge — and tell DxO Optics Pro via its highly intuitive user-interface just what color you want this to reproduce as. The software will adjust the overall white balance to achieve the reproduction you’ve set. For maximum flexibility, you can pick up to four different points in the image and attribute to each of them a target color. DxO Optics Pro then takes an average of your settings to be applied as the overall white balance.

This highly flexible tool lets you achieve a super color balance based on your assessment of the rendition of key areas in your image — and as with all other DxO Optics corrections, you can apply this same balance as a preset to a whole range of images, ensuring perfect consistency: A particularly valuable tool when you want to assure the color consistency of a series of images that are shot in rapid succession, such as in group portraits during an event or animals in the wild.
